For all Accountancy Professionals
Seeking members’ views on the AfCFTA and the role of the accountancy profession in pan-African trade.
The accountancy profession in Africa has an opportunity to transform trade across the continent by contributing to the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement.
The Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA), in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), is keen to hear your views on the prospects of the AfCFTA agreement in removing barriers and boosting pan-African trade.
The ease of trade in goods and services across borders is essential to the economic recovery. Global supply chain challenges have highlighted the value of trading partner proximity to avoid disruption. Africa’s future prosperity will be driven, in part, by greater pan-African trade.
Your input – provided via this 10-minute survey by 26 May 2022 – will inform joint PAFA – ACCA research and help to evaluate and report on the opportunities for the accountancy profession under the AfCFTA agreement. All individual responses will be treated anonymously unless you indicate differently at the end of the survey.
