For all concerned

The 6th African Congress of Accountants ACCOA 2021 will be held at Maputo-Mozambique from 24-26 November 2021 on ” Embarrassing the 4th Industrial Revolution”.

The 4th Industrial Revolution is seeing a fundamental change in the way we live, work and relate to each other. This new chapter in human development is merging our physical, digital and biological worlds in new ways, creating a wealth of both positive and negative possibilities. This represents a key opportunity for people from all walks of life to harness the potential of 4IR to create an inclusive, human-centered future. 4IR will significantly impact the future of accountancy and finance professionals. To survive, we have to change not only the way we do things, but what we do, exploring the various ways in which the accountancy profession, governments and organisations can embrace new opportunities to grow and thrive.

Join us in Maputo for the first ever hybrid physical/online ACOA from 24 to 26 November 2021 to unpack and unlock the potential of 4IR. You’ll take part in an evolving dialogue on how accountancy and finance professionals can harness the 4th Industrial Revolution to increase the positive impact governments and organisations have on people, planet, profitability and, ultimately, prosperity for all. Our distinguished speakers will be addressing dynamic inter-generational ideas, such as the impact of AI, block chain, cyber, data analytics, the internet of things and more, and how they are shaping the trajectory of human progress.
