The public sector is facing a multitude of challenges globally, from budgetary pressures and revenue limitations to intense scrutiny of public finances, all at the same time as rapidly increasing demand for high-quality public services. Moreover, with technology advancing as quickly as it is these days, it can sometimes be hard to keep up. New phones, apps, software, and social media seem to pop up every day. Even though this constant stream of innovation is intended to make all of our lives easier, new technology can also present unprecedented challenges to individuals and organizations. The public sector is no exception to this rule.
On the other hand, modern tech provides opportunities to overcome threats and weakness in public sector.
In the 21st century, around the world, common issues have emerged with many countries facing increasingly less citizens carrying the financial burden created by our societies and increased spending needs.
